Overview

Awareness Campaign

When a new law took effect in North Carolina requiring voters to show ID at the polls, NCSBOE reached out to Walk West for help spreading the message. Working with copywriter Mark Whitney, we developed a friendly, non-partisan campaign that detailed acceptable forms of ID and explained options for voting without one. "BRING IT! Your ID, Your Vote" centers on the physical act of bringing an ID to the ballots while serving as a rallying cry that empowers everyone to bring their vote. The campaign was also adapted when Hurricane Helene struck Western North Carolina, ensuring affected voters received clear, reassuring information on how they could still cast their ballots. For video production and editing, we partnered with Remedy in Durham, NC, collaborating to bring the TV spot to life. My roles included campaign concepting, design, paid asset execution, and art direction for video and radio production. Final deliverables spanned 15- and 30-second videos across multiple platforms, digital display ads, out-of-home assets, Meta campaigns, print ads for local news outlets, and broadcast radio spots.
